What Data We Collect and Why

Booking Enquiries & Contact Form

When you submit a booking request or contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, pickup location, destination, travel date and time, number of passengers, and any additional details you provide. This data is used solely to process your transfer booking and communicate with you about your journey.

Payment Data

If you pay online, your payment is processed securely by a third-party payment provider. Taxi P 5000 does not store, process, or have access to your credit card or banking details. The payment provider’s own privacy policy applies to the processing of your payment data. All transactions are encrypted and handled in accordance with PCI DSS standards. In the event of a refund, the transaction is processed via the original payment method.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection. An anonymised string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture may be visible to the public alongside your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images published on the site.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience. These cookies last for one year.

When you visit our login page, a temporary cookie is set to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, several cookies are set to save your login information and display preferences. Login cookies last for two days; screen option cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. Logging out removes all login cookies.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is saved in your browser containing the post ID of the article. This cookie contains no personal data and expires after one day.

Payment cookies: When completing an online payment, our payment provider may set cookies on your device to process the transaction securely. These are controlled solely by the payment provider and are governed by their own privacy and cookie policies.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Pages on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, maps, or articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves as if the visitor had visited those websites directly. These third-party sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking, and monitor your interaction with their content.

Who We Share Your Data With

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your data may be shared in the following limited circumstances:

  • Gravatar โ€” for profile picture lookup (hashed email only)
  • Spam detection services โ€” visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service
  • Legal obligation โ€” if required by Swiss or EU law
